World Literature Student Union
Overview
The World Literature Student Union (WLSU) is the official student union for SFU World Literature Program.
Are you an SFU student? Are you keenly interested in literature from around the globe, languages, history, travel and cultural studies? Do you enjoy meeting new (and not so new) people with like-minded interests? If so, then the WLSU is for you!
The WLSU mandate is to build a WL community and to promote student interests in the program. All students who are enrolled in WL courses are automatically members.
The WLSU meets every two weeks at SFU Surrey during the fall and spring semester, and once or twice a month during the summer. It plans academic and social events for members, including writing workshops, manuscript parties, movie marathons, and meet-and-greets.
Why Join WLSU?
Benefits include having a voice in the development of SFU World Literature, meeting other WL students, getting to know professors better, building your resume, having fun and more!
