Transfer Credit

The World Literature Program recognizes the International Baccalaureate (IB), Advanced Placement (AP) and select post-secondary courses for transfer credit. Please refer to the SFU Admissions website for more information.

International Baccalaureate 

One full year of transfer credit (30 units) is granted for a completed IB Diploma. Transfer credit is awarded for all standard level and higher level subjects passed with a grade of 4 or higher. Click here for details.

Advanced Placement

We grant transfer credit and/or advanced standing to students who complete AP examinations with grades of 4 or 5 in certain literature subjects such as English, French, Latin and Spanish. Click here for details.

College/University Transfer Credit

We grant transfer credit to students who have completed select courses from other post-secondary institutions. Please refer to the following links for more information:

Once you've been admitted to SFU, you may be eligible for specific WL transfer credit, pending course outline evaluation.
