Social & Behavioural Sciences FLC

The Social & Behavioural Sciences FLC combines first-year courses in Psychology, Sociology and Cognitive Science*. If you are interested in how people interact individually or in communities and a possible career in Psychology, Law, or other social sciences, you will love this FLC.
Students in the Social & Behavioural Sciences FLC will benefit in a number of ways, including:
- priority registration in core FLC and SFU Surrey courses
- small class sizes
- close contact with professors
- program planning with student advisor and guidance in course selection
- student orientation
- weekly events where students can get to know one another, develop skills for academic, personal and social success, as well as explore career options
Students enter the Social & Behavioural Sciences FLC take two core courses in fall, and an additional two in spring:
