I was told about Explorations by my friend who was in it last year. She said how great the program was and it was a good way to see what areas I liked best. It did what I thought it would: give me a little taste of everything and at the same time, help me build the skills that I needed to succeed in university. The professors use different teaching styles, including incorporating visual and auditory materials, which helped significantly.

I really enjoyed being in a cohort. As our professors know, students in my cohort were definitely chatty so we got along and we built solid connections with them and each other. This wouldn’t have happened if we only saw each other once a week.

The library is great. A lot of it is online which I think is really helpful. Technology wise, I really appreciate the access to outlets and plugging in my laptop. I never have to worry about it dying on me.

If I had to choose again I would definitely make the decision to come to Explorations and I know a lot of people who feel the same way.
